Today marks Bina Puri’s 35th anniversary celebration. They are responsible for major construction projects in Malaysia namely KLIA 2. What better day to celebrate this event than 10/10/10.
Today’s article features live entertainment in the form of Jazz band, singer and violin player at a corporate event in KL, Malaysia on the 10th of October 2010.
The three piece live jazz band lead by Electone Award winner Jason Geh consist of a saxophone, keyboard and drum player performing soothing instrumental jazz music during the event.
Miss Malaysia Soo Wincci who recently ventured into singing and acting performed a duet with Bina Puri’s director Dr Tony Tan. She then continued singing on her own mixing originals with covers.
There was also an enticing solo performance by a Malaysian female electric violin player. Akin to the concept of Vanessa Mae, she serenaded the crowd with a handful of appealing instrumental pieces on stage and at times off stage.
She had the liberty to get up close and personal with her listeners thanks to the wireless electric violin. I’ve included other links related to electric violin performance.
