Stroller Band KL | J-APAC Gala Dinner

Jason Geh’s 3 piece Stroller Band performed at J-APAC’s Gala Dinner held at the Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur on January the 17th 2012.



The trio consisted of an acoustic guitarist / singer, a double bassist and Jason on the alto saxophone. They perform unplugged (i.e without amplification) during dinner moving from table to table serenading the guests.

The crowd was responsive to the band. There was a delegate who relented on his compulsion thus came up to express himself vigorously through dance when the band did an Elvis number. Footage of that inspiring moment was captured so make sure to watch this video and get amuse : )

Live Band KL | House Party | NY’s Eve 2012

Live Band from Jason Geh performed at a house party on New Year’s Eve 2012. The residence was located at Jalan Nusa Kuala Lumpur.













The band consists of 4 members, featuring a female vocalist and saxophonist with accompaniment provided by a percussionist and Jason Geh on keyboard.

Their performance started off light with jazzy numbers during dinner, progressively building momentum till the culmination at 12:00am. The band and DJ ushered in the year 2012 with a massive countdown and fireworks display by the host.

Wedding Jazz Band | Daphne & Lincoln’s Wedding | Port Dickson

Wedding Jazz Band lead by Jason Geh was specially invited by Daphne and Lincoln to perform for their wedding at Avillion Port Dickson. Jason’s ensemble consisted of 4 performers (female vocalist, saxophonist, percussionist and keyboardist)



This wedding event was held by the tumasek beach on December the 24th 2011. As the wedding falls on christmas eve, the band incorporated some christmas songs into their performance selections. The bridal couple wanted tonight’s event to be a celebration of both marital and of festivity.

Since this will probably be my last post for 2011, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone on this blog especially to those I have personally been involved with throughout the year for their generous contributions. You have in someway however big or small allowed me to pursue my interest in philosophy and self discovery.

Through my pursuits in the metaphysics, gradually freeing myself from the indoctrination of the state and religiosity, I have found myself growing in awareness, willing to embrace challenges and being accountable and responsible for my own actions or inaction.

My relationship with myself and my love ones have become increasingly profound through the accumulation of true knowledge and applying first principles, reason and evidence in my daily life.

It is my objective to perpetually grow on these areas and my wish to reciprocate. Striving to embody the change that I want to see change in the world will serve as my guide.

String Trio | Church Wedding | KL

Today’s performance features a String Trio (2 violinists and a cellist) performing at the church wedding of Cindy and David. They performed selections of master pieces from the baroque, classical and romantic era.



This event was held on the morning of the 17th December 2011 at Pantai Baptist Church, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Cindy (the bride) contacted Jason Geh two days ago requesting for him to arrange a string quartet or a string trio to play for her wedding ceremony. She later opted for the string trio.




















The String Trio performed during the prelude, processional and recessional. Cindy specially requested Bach’s “Air on G” and “Jesu joy of man’s desiring” for the processional in which the trio performed flawlessly.

Jazz Duo KL | Restaurant Launch

The Jazz Duo on this video performed for the launch of the Warehouse Gallery and restaurant located at Jalan Tun HS Lee KL on December the 16th 2011.






















This KL based music group consists of an electric guitarist / singer and a saxophonist. Besides performing in KL, they do travel outstation to perform for special events upon invitation.
