String Ensemble Performance @ Event | KL Malaysia

This String Ensemble which consists of 8 string musicians performed for virgin gold’s appreciation night on march the 19th 2011 at sunway resort hotel KL.

If you discovered this post by typing String Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra or String Group, you’ve come to the right website as Ensemble, Orchestra or Group has similar meanings. It’s basically a group of musicians performing together.

The video above is about 6 minutes in length and packed with pieces that the group played during their one set performance of 45 minutes. Repertoires include instrumental music by great composers from the baroque and classical era such as Bach, Handel, Vivaldi and Mozart to viennese waltzes from the romantic era by composers like Johann Strauss.

Other styles performed by the String Ensemble include ragtime, broadway musicals, oldies, malay tunes, chinese tunes and movie soundtracks. They even performed a medley of pieces from the sound of music which was beautifully arranged.
