Jazz Band @ Danna Langkawi Launch

Jazz Band lead by award winning musician Jason Geh was hired to perform at the official launching of Danna Langkawi on the 8th of December 2010.

Jason brought along three musicians to performed with him at this event that was graced by the current Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Sri Najib bin Abdul Razak and former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir.



The Jazz Quartet consisted of a saxophonist, violinist, electric bass player / singer and Jason Geh on keyboard.

They performed two sessions of live dinner music from Jazz, oldies, classics mixed with other genres of music, the first session during the commencement of dinner and the second, after taking a short break.

Jason’s Jazz Band fulfilled some song request from the crowd that consisted mainly of politicians, dignitaries and VIPs. They also rendered requests made by the Prime Minister and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor. Tun Mahathir’s wife Puan Siti Hasmah was also present at this event.

As the Jazz Band is KL based, they had to be specially flown in to Langkawi on the 8th December to perform for this official launch.
