Lisa Chu was looking to hire a quality Live Band for her wedding reception in Le Meridien Hotel KL, Malaysia on the 3rd January 2010.
Lisa is based in the UK and she look up on the internet to see what are the live band options available for her in Malaysia on google. Many live band services pop up but Lisa decided without a doubt that Jason Geh was the person she was going to hire to perform for her wedding to her beloved groom Anton.
Lisa knew exactly what she wanted. She wanted classy instrumental live music featuring the saxophone and er hu player, a combination of western and traditional sound as her parents and friends favored Chinese music and oldies whereas Lisa likes love songs and light jazz music. She wanted her guest to be able to talk comfortably while having soothing live music at the background.
Jason Geh’s trio started off the evening’s entertainment at the foyer of the ballroom where the guest arrived to have their cocktails. They performed another two sets in the ballroom during dinner intersperse by speeches by Lisa’s dad, Anton’s best man all the way from Germany and Anton himself. There was also the cake cutting, champagne pouring and the toasting ceremony.

Dear Mr Geh,
ReplyDeleteI am very impressed by your performances I saw in your website. I would like to know what your charges are to provide a Wedding Live Band in Kuala Lumpur or Petaling Jaya, I particularly like a fusion of Chinese and Western instruments,(eg the er hu and saxophone, like on this wedding event). My daughter is getting married in Singapore and we will be hosting a dinner for relatives in either KL/PJ sometime in October/November this year. Would appreciate if you can give me a quotation.
Thank you
