Willie Tan and Jessica secured the Wedding Live Band of Jason Geh six months prior to this event. The wedding couple desired quality live music as entertainment during their romantic garden wedding held in Equatorial Hotel Bangi, Malaysia on the 5th December 2009.
They hired Jason’s music trio made up of the electric guitarist, bassist and saxophone / flute / percussion player who are professional Malaysian musicians with 25 years of performing experience.
Aside from being versatile and efficient on their instruments, they are also accomplished singers. Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines and Vietnam are among countries they have previously toured, eventually settling down in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Jason’s wedding live band performed 3 sets in total, a short set during the cocktail reception and two more sets during dinner. Their selection of evergreens and jazz numbers combined a variety of rhythms from swing, bossa, foxtrot, R & B, light rock to samba, rock & roll, cha cha and funk.
Later during the evening, Willie surprise Jessica when he came up on stage to sing “You are the love of my life” as a special dedication to his lovely new bride.
Jason Geh, together with his wedding singer and saxophonist had another performance tonight at Banker’s Club, KL. They performed at the wedding reception of Samuel Teh and Peggy. Below are contents of an email received from them two days after the event…
