Hans love jazz, in particular the music of Dave Brubeck. He wanted to hire a Jazz Quartet that’s versatile enough to perform Jazz music during the initial part of his wedding dinner as well as ballroom music at the later part. Jason Geh Jazz Quartet was exactly what Hans and his bride Inge Marie was looking for.

On the wedding day(4th January 2010) at Tropicana Golf and Country Club, the Jazz Quartet consisted of the saxophone, double bass, drums and Jason himself on the keyboards. During dinner, the quartet performed very light instrumental Jazz tunes in swing and bossa. Hans specifically wanted it that way.

After the band’s first session, there were quite a number of speeches from friends and family members including of course a speech from the groom Hans and later from his son Niels Christian who was incidentally the emcee and the best man for the night! During this period, the band help themselves with great food and drinks as it was buffet style.

The cake cutting and bridal dance ensued before Jason’s Jazz Quartet came back on stage to perform their second and final session. This set was extremely lively, the newly weds and all the guest dance along to the live music with medleys of rumba, waltzez, foxtrot, cha cha and rock & roll. The talented double bassist contributed his powerful vocal abilities which drew much appreciation from the guest on the dance floor.
